Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a MyFBleads mobile app?
There is no dedicated mobile app. MyFBleads is a Chrome browser extension designed for desktop use. However, you can access your lead data through the web dashboard on any mobile browser. The capture features require the desktop extension, but viewing and basic management work on mobile.
Can I capture leads from my phone?
Not currently. Lead capture requires the Chrome extension, which only runs on desktop browsers. When you are on mobile, use the Facebook Messenger app normally and capture those conversations when you return to desktop. Many users do quick replies on mobile and lead management on desktop.
How do I view my leads on mobile?
Access the MyFBleads web dashboard from any mobile browser. Log in with your account and you can view your lead list, see pipeline stages, read notes, and check follow-up dates. The interface is viewable on mobile, though optimized for desktop.
Can I edit leads from mobile?
Yes, through the web dashboard. You can update tags, change pipeline stages, edit notes, and set follow-up dates from your phone browser. Changes sync to your desktop extension. Full editing is available; only capture requires desktop.
Why is there no mobile app?
Facebook heavily restricts what third-party apps can do with Messenger on mobile. The browser extension approach on desktop gives us more flexibility to provide useful features. Building a mobile app that cannot capture leads would provide limited value. We focus on doing desktop well.
What is the best mobile workflow?
On mobile: have conversations in Messenger, note mentally who needs follow-up. On desktop: capture those leads into MyFBleads, add notes while the conversation is fresh, set follow-up dates. This split workflow leverages mobile for conversation and desktop for organization.
Does data sync between mobile and desktop?
Yes. With cloud sync enabled, any changes you make on the web dashboard from mobile appear on your desktop extension, and vice versa. View leads on your phone, update a stage, and it reflects on desktop within seconds.
Can I use MyFBleads on tablet?
On tablets with full Chrome browser (like Chromebook or some Android tablets), the extension may work depending on the browser support. On iPad, you would use the web dashboard since Safari does not support Chrome extensions. Tablet experience varies by device.
Will there ever be a mobile app?
We evaluate mobile options regularly. The challenge is making something genuinely useful given Facebook platform limitations. If we can build a mobile experience that adds real value beyond the web dashboard, we will. For now, the desktop extension plus web dashboard covers most use cases.
How do teams handle mobile access?
Teams typically have some members on desktop (doing capture and management) and others checking leads on mobile (staying informed, quick updates). The web dashboard gives everyone visibility regardless of device. Coordinate who captures vs who just monitors.
